Privacy Scoring

We evaluate companies across 15 criteria including data collection practices, third-party sharing, encryption standards, deletion policies, transparency reports, and regulatory compliance. Each criterion is weighted by impact to users.

Deletion Verification

Every delete guide is manually tested. We create accounts, follow our own instructions, verify data removal, and recheck periodically to ensure accuracy. Guides are updated within 48 hours of platform changes.

Safety Assessment

Apps are evaluated for encryption strength, data storage practices, permissions requested, third-party SDK usage, and history of breaches or vulnerabilities. We use both automated scanning and manual review.

Expose Investigations

Our investigations follow journalistic standards. We verify claims through multiple sources, review technical documentation, analyze network traffic, and consult independent security researchers before publishing.
